War 2 Movie Review
War 2, from the YRF Spy Universe, brings Hrithik Roshan, NTR, and Kiara Advani together in one of the year’s most awaited Bollywood movies.
It has big action scenes, stylish locations, and follows a very familiar template of War part one, keeping the same spy-thriller style.
Story & Narrative
The story runs on the same spy-action formula, focusing on three main characters — Hrithik, NTR, and Kiara.
The first half is good, with stylish action, face-offs.
The second half slows down and feels less interesting, making it a bit weaker.
There are a few twists — some work, some don’t — and the story feels predictable.
Performances
Hrithik Roshan – Looks amazing, performs well, and handles action with style. He’s confident and fits his spy role perfectly.
NTR – This is his first Hindi movie, and he appears in a totally new and stylish look compared to his past Telugu films. He has a few powerful entry and fight scenes but not enough impactful moments. His role is used more for twists than as a strong lead. For his big debut, the writing could have been better.
Kiara Advani – One of the best parts of the movie. She looks stunning in every frame and acts well. She adds glamour and balances the screen presence alongside Hrithik and NTR.
Action & Technicals
- Chase scenes are exciting and well shot.
- Music & songs are okay, but could have been stronger and placed better.
- Cinematography gives the movie an international spy-thriller look.
Positives
- Hrithik’s style and action.
- NTR’s fresh, stylish avatar for his Hindi debut.
- Kiara’s stunning screen presence.
- Good chase and action moments.
- Good first half.
Negatives
- Very familiar template of War part one.
- Second half loses pace.
- NTR’s role doesn’t get enough importance.
- Some twists don’t work.
- Songs are average.
Final Verdict
War 2 (2025) is a stylish action film that runs on a very familiar template of War part one.
Hrithik is solid, Kiara is glamorous, and NTR looks stylish but his role is underused.
A decent outing for Bollywood’s spy universe, but not a big upgrade for the franchise.
